Hot Jazz for Hard Times

‘The New Recessionaires’, play music of the 20's through the 50's and beyond. Band leader Bill Ungerman plays saxophones and is known for his writing and arranging in the swing band 'Royal Crown Revue'. On guitar, also formerly a member of ‘RCR’, is James Achor, co-author of the hit song 'Hey Pachuco'. On drums is the inimitable Willie McNeil who played with Bill in the band 'Jump With Joey' and is a band leader in his own right. On piano is Mike Boito, who also played in 'Jump With Joey' is a veteran musician who has played with too many people to mention and is always tasty. Holding down the bottom, is solid bassman Ollie Steinberg. Last, but not least, fronting the band, is that sweetheart of song, Makinna Ridgway, who is also a member of the 'Satin Dollz'.

‘The New Recessionaires’ are the perfect band for that 20’s themed party!  They have lots of original music as well as recognizable standards of the era and are able to customize for your event.
